Federal Political Parties and Party Ideology: Lesson Plan

This Lesson Plan provides teachers with three activities that focus on developing students’ knowledge of the core political ideologies as they evolved in the 20th century. Students will engage in critical thinking, group discussion, online research, group project work, and debate. Students will be assessed upon completion of tasks and using the provided rubric. Extension activities are provided involving researching different political parties.
